During the speech I want to introduce the good old imposter syndrome. It’s not about downplaying the challenge, but learning about it and navigating it with lightness. About learning the mechanism of how it works, how it affects us and by extension, our work.
Why should we keep it in mind? What does knowing about it give us and why is it so important to us? How does it affect us at work? Does it only limit us? Or could it be useful to us for something?
How does it affect us as leaders, and how might it affect teammates?
Spend these crazy few dozen minutes with me, in which you will learn more about this issue. Explore, understand and learn how to use it to your advantage!

Proposed lecture draft:
1. Introduction: why about imposter syndrome, when so much has been said about it?
2. A little theory: what is it and how does it most often manifest itself?
3. How can it affect us at work?
4. Why is it especially dangerous for leaders/project managers?
5. How to tame it? How to deal with it?
6. Summary.
7. Q&A
